A pregnancy

"Its not what I have sensed its what I've seen."

Cat looked at her. "What have you seen?" She asked quietly.

Alex looked at her and saw she looked concerned.

"The baby is going to be healthy, but there are others that are going to try and come for it."

Cat closed her eyes. "So it's gifted?" She asked even more quiet.

Alex watched the conversation quietly.


Vlad went up to Tyler confused. "You want me to check on Cat?"

She nodded "And alot stronger."

"If you dont mind. I know Ian is going to be gone for a couple days."

Cat took a breath. "So how...how long is this pregnancy supposed to last. It's been unheard of that a hybrid would have a child."


Vlad nodded. "Sure. Do you think something is off?"

"I didnt get that far. But Im pretty sure that its not going to be long."

"Yeah I do."

Cat nodded some. She then looked at Allie. "How are you feeling?"

Vlad left and drove towards Cat's home in curiosity.

She shrugged "I have a bad headache but they usually pass."

Cat made some tea and handed it to her. "Here this should help."

Vlad pulled up and stepped inside. "Mistress?" Vlad called unsure if there were visiting people.

"In the kitchen Vlad."

Vlad walked into the kitchen and smiled seeing Allie. "Hey." He kissed her temple then looked at Cat. "Tyler is worried."

"I'm fine."

Allie sipped her tea

Vlad sniffed the air. "Something smells off."

Cat sighed. "I will tell Tyler when I'm ready."

Vlad raised a brow. "Hiding something from my King?"

Allie looked "Vlad drop it. She called him and he was busy so she will tell him when the time is right for her."

Vlad pouted. "They know first?"

Cat rolled her eyes. "Any word on when Ian will be home?'

Alex looked at her. "Not until Sunday evening."

Cat nodded some.

Allie rolled her eyes "Im going back to bed." she said "Dont follow Vlad.'

Vlad watched in shock.

Alex followed her and wrapped an arm around her.

Cat looked at Vlad. "Take me to Tyler."

Vlad sighed and took her to the car.

She looked at him "You really like sticking to him dont you?"

"You said not to insult each other so I don't." He said with a shrug.

Cat looked out the window as Vlad drove.

"Alex I know you two better than anyone. So I know that you want to insult him so go right ahead."

"Your angry with him?" Alex asked surprised. "Besides he's got Cat and taking her to Tyler."

"Yeah. Im angry with him." she replied

Tyler had just finished up training some new members

"Why?" Alex asked curious.

Cat got out of the car and walked down the halls ignoring the vampires who bowed in respect. She sniffed the air and followed the newest scent that Tyler had left along with the pull in her heart.

"Because he promised to stay last night but he didnt." she replied

Tyler had went back to the master room

"He didn't? Did he give a reason?"


Cat stepped into the room and smiled watching Tyler get undressed.

"No." she said

He turned around and raised a brow "Cat is everything okay?"
