Learning to understand Mates

"I heard that you were doing the online thing." Alex remarked.


Cat walked in and watched Alex and Allie.

"Yeah. Its better to freak out alone than in public for everyone to make fun of me."

Tyler and Ian walked over to her "Vlad might be getting ready to pull on someone."

Alex nodded in understanding.

Cat looked at them. "Who?" She asked handing Tyler a small flask.

She nodded

Ian looked at Tyler as he took the flask

"Allie." he said

Alex twirled her.

Cat hissed and turned her head to Vlad. "Please tell me your kidding."

She smiled twirling

"Nope. I asked him because he had the look in his eyes then it hit me about Allie and I mention her name he just looked at her and Alex,:

Alex laughed.

Cat growled and went towards Vlad.

"Easy Mistress." He said looking at her backing up.

She smiled looking at him

Ian touched her arm "Easy Cat."

"You did tell him that if wanted to mate he had to pull on someone."

"Can I ask you something?"

Cat growled. "But she's my cousin. She's supposed to say human."

"Sure." she said

"And she will. Vlad will see to it." Tyler said

"How do you feel about these worlds?"


Cat glared at Vlad.

He sighed. "I wanted her as my equal."

"What do you mean?" she asked alittle confused

Tyler rubbed her back

"Equal?" Ian questioned

"Werewolves and Vampires. You haven't said much."


Cat hissed. "Hell no." She growled.

"I want her turned."

"Things that my father told me wasnt real actually turned out to be real. I have always had a thing for vampire and werewolfs. They have always caught my eye. My term paper was going to be about the myth of vampires and werewolfs, but that changed when I found out that they existed."

Tyler growled "Do you not understand the danger she is going to be in if she is turned? At least as a human her fathers enemies can not touch her because they would be breaking the treaty."

Alex nodded in understanding.


Cat shook her head. "I'll never allow it."

Vlad glared at her. "You can't stop a mating."

She nodded "Can i ask you something?" she asked

He sighed

"Absolutely." He said looking at her.

Cat rubbed her face. "I can't believe you feel the pull to her."

"Why do you look at me different from other girls that have been throwing themselves at you."

"Well Alex is feeling it to."

He sighed. "I feel the mating pull to you."

Cat took a deep breath and looked at Ian. "Did you know about this?"

"The mating pull?"

Ian looked at her "I knew that he felt a connection to her from the first time that he saw her, but I never knew anything about him feeling the mating pull on her."

"You know how Cat has her mates? I feel the pull they have for her for you."


Cat groaned. "No."

"Why me?" she asked

Tyler looked

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. You are just someone who is calming to me."


Cat rubbed her face. "I need to find a murderer I'll be back."

She nodded at him

Tyler and Ian followed her

Alex took a breath. "How do you feel about it?" He asked quietly.


Cat looked around as she walked towards the outside of the club.
