Learning to understand Mates

Cat looked at Allie. "Come on Allie please come. I know your trying to understand the whole two mates thing and I'm trying to show you that it's not that I'm being a slut."

Allie looked at her. She was trying to get use to the fact that her family kept things from her and she knew her cousin meant well, but she just didnt understan things the way she did

"Cat I really dont feel like going out."

"Please Allie this will help you understand the two worlds we kept hidden from you." Cat said looking up at her taller cousin.

She sighed "Alright."

Cat smiled. "Thank you. Besides Alex and Vlad will be there." She had seen how her sister had reacted to the two clan leaders.

"Really now?" She asked

Cat nodded. "They both frequent this club with me and Ian and Tyler." She said with a small smile.

"For this club what should I wear?" she asked

"Normal club clothes but don't wear anything red." Cat said as she left to go change.

Allie sighe dgoing through her clothes

Cat changed into form fitting black leather pants with a dark blue corset. She walked down the stairs after putting on her heels and saw Ian sitting on the couch. She plopped down on his lap and curled into him taking in his scent.

Allie changed into her tight hip huggers and a light blue corset. Sitting down on her bed she put her shoes on with a million thoughts running through her head.

Ian held her close
"How is she taking this?"

She sighed cuddling closer. "She is confused and angry." She traced patterns on his arm.

She leaned back on the bed for a few minutes before getting up and fixing her hair

"Give her time hun. She will come around, but until then we have to keep her safe from her father's enemies."

Cat nodded then looked up at him taking in dark hair with a small smile. "So who won me for the night you or Tyler?" She had a day where it was up to whoever won the chess game that got her for the extra night during the week.

"Today just wasnt my day. Tyler won it." he said

Allie got up and walked down seeing them

Cat laughed softly. "I'm sorry. I'll try to spend a little more time with you at the club then since he gets me to himself tonight." She kissed him softly.

He kissed her back

"Cousin in the room." She said looking away still finding somewhat gross

Cat laughed softly and pulled away from his warmth. "Alright let's go." She got up and grabbed her jacket then looked at Allie. "Just keep an open mind and what ever you do please do not leave my sight."


Alex and Vlad looked around the club as they sat at their usual table.

"Doubt your toy there will let him out of his sight." she said walking out to the car

Ian looked "She has her father's temper and out put." he said

Cat walked out following Allie. "Allie he isn't a toy he's my mate, my husband in the human world."

"Cat its going to take time to understand how this world works."

"I know that's why I'm letting you know that neither man is a play toy for me they are in a sense my husbands." Cat said sitting across from Allie in the limo.

"So your saying in this world you can have two husbands? How do you know which one is which?"

Cat bit her lip trying to explain. "It's rare to have two mates. It's even more rare to have them be two species. Tyler is a vampire his enemy is Ian a werewolf but because of me being a hybrid they can tolerate each other because of their pull to me. Mates find each other through a pull. You feel each other's emotions and pain. Also when you touch there is an electrical current that flows through your body."
